Will Be Attending the New York State Fair
by Cari Rincker on Aug.06, 2011, under Rincker Law Events
I will be at the New York State Fair (“NYSF”) in Syracuse from August 29-30 and September 1-2. State Fair time is my favorite time of year. I am a big believer in 4-H and believe that hard work teaches kids how to become good people. I attribute most of my success in life to the fact that I have strong work ethic – a necessary quality for farm life.
I will be judging the Junior Angus Beef Show on August 29th and my father, Curt Rincker, will be judging the Open Simmental Show from September 1-2. I hope to make it through several of the barns and say hello to 4-H kids and families.
If you will be at the NYSF during these days, please feel free to contact me on my cellular phone (646) 717-2659. Would love to meet you in person. Alternatively, you can follow my tweets from the NYSF @CariRincker.
For those of you who know my father, he just retired from Lake Land College and became the Regional Vice-President for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (“NCBA”). My father has been a tremendous leader for the agriculture community and I only dream of making a similar impact on the lives of the people who are involved in the agriculture business.
I know that I am biased, but my dad is a great livestock judge. He really cares about sorting the cattle right and is very articulate on the microphone. Moreover, he is especially good and working with the young people and tries to make it show day a valuable learning experience. My dad understands that the livestock business is so much bigger than the cattle that are in the showring — it is about people who make this industry great. And I try to have that attitude every day of my law practice. If you are at the NYSF on September 1-2, please stop by the Simmental show and watch him judge a class or two.
