Need an Excuse to Finally Watch Food Inc.?

I admit that I have been proscrastinating myself- afterall, it will just be another movie that will misrepresent modern agriculture. However, as I have said time and time again on this blog I think it is important for those involved in the agriculture to watch movies like Food Inc. and read books by Michael Pollan and Jonathan Foer (just to name a few) because these movies and books are affecting how people feel about the agriculture industry. The agriculture industry needs to understand the concerns that the public has to best address these issues.
If you haven’t watched Food Inc. yet then I am giving you an excuse to finally watch it. There will be a discussion on Google Wave from April 7th-April 14th. The real time discussion will take place on Google Wave on April 7th from 8-10pm ET. However, as I realized a few months ago, Google Wave is not the best forum for real time conversations so the discussion will continue on Google Wave over the next week. I will start posting some questions on the wave around March 29th.

If you are not on Google Wave, please email me at cari@rinckerlaw.com and I will make sure to send you an invitation. It takes a few days for invites to process so if you think you might be interested please email me sometime in the next two weeks to allow Google ample time to process the request.
