Cattle branding at Crimm Brothers Cattle Co. near Casper, Wyoming

About a year and a half ago on this blog, I introduced the blog from the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (“NCBA”) Young Producers’ Council (“YPC”) (@YPCBeef) titled “The Cattle Call.”  With the help of Nate Jaeger, Katy Groseta, and a handful of fantastic cattle bloggers, the blog has served as a powerful voice for young cattle producers throughout the country on a myriad of topics.  Social media remains a top priority for YPC.

Last January, I decided to take on a new leadership role with YPC.  Lauren Chase (@LaurenMSea), a Montana cowgirl, stepped up to the plate and volunteered as the new Editor of the YPC Cattle Call.  Lauren, along with her co-editors, Jessica Bussard (@CowgirlJesse), Danielle Schubert, and Meghan Woolridge, decided to revamp the design of YPC Cattle Call.  The new blog can be found here.   If you are interested in blogging for YPC Cattle Call, please contact Lauren directly at lauren.chase4@gmail.com.

So update your RSS Feed with the change so you don’t miss a beat.  I bring in my Google Reader feed into my iMac using NetNewsWire and into my iPhone using NewsRack and Byline.
