We are having a new blog series here at Rincker Law, PLLC where we will highlight the our awesome team members. We start off interviewing the employee who has been with Rincker Law, PLLC the longest, Kymberly Robinson. In fact, Kym went to law school with Cari Rincker and joined Rincker Law, PLLC soon after its infancy as a part-time associate attorney.
Name: Kymberly Robinson, Esq.
Position: Associate Attorney
Time Period on Rincker Law’s Team: 8 years approximately
Which Office: New York City
Where Reside: Scarsdale, New York
What do you love most about where you presently reside? The schools, the friends, and proximity to NYC

Hometown: New Rochelle, New York
Education: Union College, Schenectady, NY; Pace Law, White Plains; Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York, NY
Why you like working in the legal community? Law really is a “helping”profession, as you are a counselor at law. I feel like when we resolve a case, we really help people move forward in their lives and have closure or a resolution.
What do you love most about working at Rincker Law? The team approach and collaboration. I like feeling part of a larger firm, even though I am in New York City.
Favorite practice area that Rincker Law practices? Family law, not-for-profit law
Family and/or Pets: Husband-Jonathan (also a lawyer), Daughter-Skyla, and Son-Jaxson. Being a working mom and wife I do not feel that I can take on the responsibility of a pet, but when the children are older we hope to adopt a dog.
What do you like to do when you’re not at Rincker Law? I am most likely with my children when I’m not working. I also enjoy partaking in community activities with friends, doing yoga, being a tourist in New York City, planning and hosting parties, and spending time with my family.
Favorite Hobby: As weird as this sounds-planning and organizing! I love being involved in hosting holidays, birthday parties, and even school events for my kids. For an active hobby, I love walking or yoga.
Favorite Color and 3 words that describe that color? Pink- feminine, passionate, and strong.
Favorite Charity: This is an easy one because my daughter has a peanut allergy-FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education). It is a great resource for our family and friends.
Favorite place you have traveled and why? Hawaii. It was beautiful, the air smelled amazing, and it was a mix of outdoor adventure and relaxing at the pool and beach. It felt like you were home in the United States but at an exotic location at the same time.
Frequent travel spots: Florida
Favorite author/book and why? I loved reading the book Gone Girl-the movie was not bad either. I like when I am so engrossed in a story that I finish it in just a few days. If I am reading a book for more than a week, I probably don’t like it.
If you could have one superpower to help Rincker Law clients, what would it be? To see the deep-down truth of what is at the root of the client’s desire to pursue an action, and find out what the best way to achieve all of the client’s goals with the most efficient route possible.
Favorite musicians: I love 90’s music!
Favorite way to destress after a long day at Rincker Law: Watching Bravo probably
