Wow- I hope this is a good omen for 2021 as I was asked to speak on a panel with the Chicago Bar Association Career Advancement Program on January 15th from 12 to 1 on “Diversifying Your Work Week in the New Year.” A silver lining of this pandemic is that it will be a virtual program.
The panel will feature lawyers who are working in multiple roles. For those that know me, I do where multiple hats. Not only do I managed Rincker Law, PLLC but I am also part-time General Counsel for Software Solutions Integrated, LLC, teach at the University of Illinois, School of Law and Vermont Law School online. And that is just my professional life as I also have to do chores twice a day on Cari’s Farm and have authored 3 books (so far) in addition to a podcast.
Someone once told me that “the key to life was one thing,” but that’s not the life for me. We are all searching for our bliss and mine is found in my multiple hats. If you are a member of the the Chicago Bar Association, I look forward to our conversation on January 15th. Stay tuned for more info!
