I have been reading Michael Pollan’s Omnivore’s Dilemma and thought it would be fun to have an online discussion about it. If you haven’t started, you have a week so head to the nearest bookstore!
I have been playing with the new google wave application and decided to give it a try next Wednesday night for the online discussion. If you are interested in joining the wave discussion but don’t have an invite then please email me and I will send you one (only 5 invites left!). You will be obligated, however, to invite other ag book chatters to google wave. Once you are there, make sure you add me to your contacts — cari.rincker@gmail.com. I will go ahead and start a discussion thread about Omnivore’s Dilemma.
This will be a test run on this application– let’s see if google wave is all what it is cracked up to be. I still need to watch a tutorial. As a reminder, you can join the facebook group here. It will start at 8pm ET.

Looking forward to the discussion. Pretty interesting book. If you have an office job like me and listen to the radio all day, try heading to your library and getting it on audiobook! Great way to learn while working (especially if you are a slow reader like me). Just finished O.D. yesterday and have many thoughts about the book.
