Trusts

Rincker Law, PLLC is a member of Wealth Counsel and helps clients navigate the world of trust creation, funding and administration. Cari and her team are able to assist with Revocable Living Trusts (and amendments thereto) in addition to more narrowly tailored trusts such as life insurance trusts, retirement trusts, pet trusts, etc. Rincker Law works with outside counsel if there is a need for irrevocable trusts such as Medicaid trusts.

Considering the Advantages of Trusts

Although a trust is not necessary for every estate plan, Cari believes that every family should consider the advantages that a trust may offer them when looking at the global picture. Cari takes a holistic approach with her estate planning philosophy and does not believe there is a “one size fits all” estate plan for every family. She too believes that estate planning is a lifelong process that requires tweaking and improving overtime. Thus, she may suggest that some families start with Step 1 without a trust and come back to Step 2 with a trust at a later date.

Cari recommends that all Rincker Law clients revisit their estate plan every 3 to 5 years or whenever there is a major life event (e.g., Death, Divorce, Destruction, Marriage or Children).
