Morgan Schumann (she/her) is Of Counsel at Rincker Law, where she brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to legal practice. Since 2022, she has worked closely with the firm, supporting individuals, families, farms, and businesses with practical legal guidance.
Morgan holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an M.S. in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research.
Before entering private practice in 2018, Morgan completed externships with the Honorable Virginia Kendall and the Honorable Robert Gettleman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Her diverse background—spanning anthropology, nonprofit leadership, and federal judicial experience—shapes a well-rounded, empathetic approach to the law.
Morgan focuses her practice on family law and related legal matters, helping clients navigate challenging transitions with clarity, care, and strong advocacy. She is a 2023–2025 Fellow with the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section.
Outside of the office, Morgan enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with her two pups—a goldendoodle and a rescue mutt.
