Custody and Parenting Time Mediation

Cari does not hide the fact that she is a huge fan of mediation, especially when children are involved. In fact, she believes that litigation can be destructive to the family unit sometimes causing irreparable harm to the co-parenting relationship. Not only is Cari on the court approved roster for certain circuit courts, but she too can mediate privately retained disputes involving parenting time and decision-making (i.e., custody and visitation).

How it Works

Cari books her mediation sessions at 2 hours each. As a general rule, it can take 2-3 mediation session to resolve the allocation of parental responsibilities.

Parties in a family law dispute are encouraged to get a consulting attorney to answer any questions that they might have. The parties pay also choose to involve experts such as therapists upon mutual agreement.
