As I noted in this blog, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association‘s (“NCBA”) Young Producers’ Council (“YPC”) will be helping young cattle producers (ages 18-35) who are seeking internships or permanent jobs by having a resume collection at the 2010 Convention and Trade Show in San Antonio from January 27-30th.  It was announced today that YPC will be taking it one step further by helping organize interviews with various trade show participants including agribusinesses, breed associations, and government agencies.

If you are interested in participating in this incredible program, you are encouraged to submit your resume to Sara Konkel at skonkel@beef.org by December 21st.

As an aside, if you are interested in a career in agriculture law and policy, feel free to contact me with any questions.  There will several attorneys, like myself, in attendance at NCBA Convention.  Please come introduce yourself to me in San Antonio and I would gladly help connect you to other agriculture attorneys as well.  The agriculture community needs good attorneys and knowledgeable agriculture policy experts on the state, federal and international level.
