Ruth is an associate attorney in the Shelbyville office. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in German and Political Science from the University of Illinois in 2002 and is a 2017 graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City, School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. Prior to law school, Ruth was a stay-at-home mom and part-time paralegal. While in law school, Ruth was a member of the ABA Student Division Negotiation Team and interned with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri.
Ruth’s practice areas include all areas of family law, including petitions for dissolution, parenting time and support modifications, estate planning, business formations, real estate transactions, property disputes, and guardianship matters.
Ruth is currently serving as the President of the Greater Shelbyville Chamber of Commerce and Secretary of the Shelby County Bar Association. Ruth lives in Shelbyville with her husband and 4 children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and paddleboarding on Lake Shelbyville.
