William B. Culp

Associate Attorney

Dedicated Civil Litigation and Estate Planning Attorney

William “Will” Culp is an Associate Attorney at Rincker Law, PLLC, where he focuses his practice on civil litigation, estate planning, guardianships, and family-related matters. A first-generation attorney, Will brings a practical, compassionate approach to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate complex and often emotionally charged legal challenges.

Education and Legal Foundation

Will was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2019. He earned his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where his studies included transactions, estates, civil litigation, family practice, and rehabilitative intervention for at-risk youth. He also completed Minnesota’s qualification course for family law mediation.

Will holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he developed strong skills in public speaking, writing, and communication — skills that continue to serve him well in the courtroom and in client advocacy.

Leadership in Private Practice

Before joining Rincker Law, Will founded and operated Culp Law Office, P.C., where he managed all aspects of a small firm practice. He represented clients in family law and probate matters, served as lead counsel in court proceedings, prepared and organized discovery, and drafted estate planning documents including Special Needs Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Last Wills and Testaments. His experience also includes preparing and approving closing documents for real estate transactions.

Experience at Rincker Law and in Civil Litigation

Will previously served as an Associate Attorney at Rincker Law from 2019 to 2022, representing family law clients, preparing pleadings and discovery materials, and serving as primary counsel in court. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Law Clerk at Spiros Law, P.C., where he gained extensive experience in civil litigation, trial preparation, motion practice, and drafting demand letters and court filings.

Leadership, Communication, and Community Service

Beyond his legal practice, Will has a diverse professional background that reflects leadership, communication, and service. He served on the Board of Directors for the National At-Home Dad Network as Media Relations Manager, coordinating national media outreach and building strategic partnerships. He is also a published author of Better Off Dad – Parenting morsels from a stay-at-home daddio, a collection of his editorial columns on parenting.

Will is actively involved in Central Illinois and is a member of the Champaign County Bar Association and the Mahomet Chamber of Commerce. He is passionate about servant leadership and community engagement. As a father of three, Will understands firsthand the importance of stability, planning, and thoughtful decision-making for families.

Outside the Office

Outside the office, Will enjoys live music, attending local sports and school events, and spending meaningful time with his family.
