The Central Illinois Paralegal Association (CIPA) has officially announced its 2026 Board-Elect, marking an exciting new chapter of leadership for paralegals across the region. The Central Illinois Paralegal Association continues to promote education, professionalism, and collaboration within the legal field, making this announcement especially significant for the paralegal community throughout Central Illinois.
Meet the 2026 CIPA Board-Elect
At today’s member meeting, the following individuals were elected by quorum to serve on the 2026 Board:
- President: Denise Risinger (Onward Injury Law)
- Vice-President: Denise Cardot (Caterpillar Inc.)
- Secretary: Linda Gibson (Rincker Law PLLC)
- Treasurer: Laura Gilmore (Chartwell Law)
- NALA Liaison: Stacey Seaman (State Farm Insurance)
The Board-Elect will be officially installed during the CIPA Christmas Party at Medici in Normal on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Members who have not yet registered are encouraged to do so promptly so the venue can prepare an accurate headcount. This year’s celebration will feature entertainment by the Happy Hour Barbershop Quartet, promising a festive and memorable evening.

One of Linda’s most memorable experiences involved assisting with an urgent estate plan signing for a client whose spouse was nearing the end of life. She accompanied her attorney to the hospital to ensure everything could be completed in time. That moment reaffirmed the importance of her work and the profound impact that compassionate legal support can have on families during difficult times.
Outside of the office, Linda enjoys riding her electric bike, spending time with family, cheering on her grandkids at sports events, spending time with her cat, and staying active at the gym. Her commitment to balance, growth, and excellence carries through both her personal and professional life.
