Time flies when you’re having fun, right? Last month, Rincker Law (and this blog) celebrated its Five Year Anniversary. Seems like just yesterday that I was writing this blog celebrating four years of my business (see my first, second, and third anniversary posts). The highlights of my fifth year in business have been writing my *first* book, being an Adjunct Professor at New York University, and witnessing the growth in my business, especially on the family and matrimonial side of my practice.
I have also moderated two Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) webinars for the American Bar Association (“ABA”) General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division’s Agriculture Law Committee on 1031 Exchanges and Renewable Energy Law. I also enjoyed presenting on Farm Leases to the National Agriculture Law Center (“NALC”). My article on trademarks for the food and agriculture industry was picked-up by several publications, including this one.
On the matrimonial side of my practice, I have written and presented on the Top 10 Reasons Why Prenups Are Romantic (still waiting for my Prince Charming to get down on one knee and ask if I will sign a prenup with him). I also co-authored an article on divorce mediation concerning animals, including farm animals.
I’ve had a great Year 5 and looking forward to even a better Year 6. Thank you for your love and support for my business (and this blog).

Not surprising to see you’ve been running a successful enterprise, Cari. You’re a connector and quick-witted and clearly know how to work a room. One can only assume you go to bat for your clients and I’m betting your batting record is 1000.
