Rincker Law, PLLC is delighted to celebrate Associate Attorney Regan McGuill Booth, who was recently recognized as a Featured Member in the Farm to Firm Newsletter published by the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA).
This national recognition highlights Regan’s passion for agriculture, her impressive academic and professional background, and her ongoing contributions to advancing the field of agricultural law.
A Lifelong Connection to Agriculture
Regan’s connection to agriculture began in childhood, growing up on a small cow/calf operation in Texas. Her involvement in the Texas 4-H Program—showing cattle and swine—and participation in the Texas 4-H Livestock Ambassador Program sparked her commitment to agricultural advocacy and policy.
“These experiences opened my eyes to how essential advocacy is in agriculture,” Regan shared in the AALA feature. “They inspired me to pursue a legal career focused on helping farmers and ranchers protect their livelihoods.”
Academic and Professional Journey
After earning her B.S. in Animal Science with a minor in Agricultural Economics and a Certificate of Meat Science from Texas A&M University, Regan completed her Juris Doctor at Michigan State University College of Law in 2023.
Her diverse experience includes working with Wright & Moore Law Co., the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the National Pork Board, where she deepened her understanding of agricultural law and policy. Before joining Rincker Law, she practiced at an insurance defense litigation firm in Northern California.
Serving the Agricultural Community
At Rincker Law, Regan represents clients in Texas and California on a wide range of food and agricultural law matters, including:
- Business and employment law
- Contracts and land use
- Energy and environmental issues
- Estate planning and probate
- Regulatory compliance and trademarks
Her approach combines practical industry insight with a deep understanding of the legal landscape, helping clients proactively address challenges and seize new opportunities in the evolving agricultural sector.
Leadership in the AALA Community
Since joining the American Agricultural Law Association in her first year of law school, Regan has remained an active member and leader. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Students and Young Professionals Committee and contributes to the Symposium Planning Committee, helping connect students, mentors, and professionals across the agricultural law community.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the AALA community,” Regan says. “It’s been a source of mentorship, education, and friendship. I encourage students and new attorneys to get involved early and take advantage of all the resources the organization offers.”
