I am very excited to be one of the speakers at the 2011 New York Farm Bureau (“NYFB”) Young Farmers & Ranchers (“YF&R”) Leadership Conference from March 11 to March 12 at the Holiday Inn in Syracuse/Liverpool, NY. This year’s theme is “Tradition and Technology.” I think this is a great topic as young agriculture producers and business people struggle with the right balance of technology in their operation.
The substantive program includes speakers on crop insurance, legislative updates at the state and federal level, and the use of social media for “agvocacy.” I will be the closing speaker during lunch on the 12th. You can view the complete agenda here.
